Saturday, June 30th, 2007Well, that was a longer break than anticipated… I was ready to return a couple of months ago, but whilst I was away, the Domain “anotherconstable.co.uk” expired. No big deal I thought, I’ll just renew it and carry on. However, Nominet, the domain registration people saw fit to put a block on renewal for 3 whole months. I’m not sure if this is normal practice, but it was immensely tedious.
I did toy with using a new domain e.g. anotherconstable.com which was available, but being a stickler, I was annoyed at the principal of having to change when I didn’t want to, so I just sat it out. My domain became available again a couple of days ago, so I have gone through the process of renewing it and pointing the tags back to my webspace, and we’re good to go again
