Battered By A Girl!
Isn’t it funny how a goog kicking comes from the most unlikely of sources? Well, ok perhaps a kicking isn’t quite how it was, but I ended up being assaulted last night by a little girl. Hilarious as it later was for some of my colleagues, I wasn’t the only one either. In all, 4 of us sustained injury. I don’t know yet what the outcome was (charge or whatever) as that will have been dealt with by the morning shift - I’ll find out soon enough though.
All because I wanted to tell someone off for pissing in the street! There is nothing I find so shocking as seeing girls/women with their pants around their ankles pissing in the street. It’s just so unbecoming. Being male, I’ve grown up being used to blokes weeing in doorways and alleyways and so on - as disgusting as it is. Women, in my experience, like to walk half a mile off into the bushes before dropping their pants - well out of sight. Seems like those days are gone. I’ve dealt with a few female pissers lately.
Last night was a teenager, and upon being caught became verbally abusive and physically obstructive. Clearly drunk, I wanted her details so that I could take her home to her parents and issue a disorder notice. However, once in the back of the car, she erupted into a wailing banshee, striking out all over the place. In grabbing her arms to take control of her, I found myself on the receiving end of some gouging injuries where she took some chunks out of my hands and arm with her nails. My colleague suffered a few kicks in the chest and being spat at - landing in her mouth (yuck!). Assistance required and two further colleagues arrive also to end up receiving cuts and scratches for their efforts.
On reflection, it’s our “Use of force” policy that causes me the problem. At the end of the day, this was a child, and apart from gripping her tightly and trying to stop her from lashing out, there wasn’t a great deal I could do. If it had been a big fella, I’m sure I would have punched his lights out, but surely that would be an over the top approach to take. Annoying though that this girl feels she can effectively do what she likes, as she knows I can’t exactly justify punching her. I can see the court case now. Me and 3 colleagues looking all hard and butch in our body armour and belt kit giving evidence of how we lost a fight with 1 little (less than 5′ tall) girl in a shool uniform.
Somehow, I’m not sure the magistrates would side with us. On top of it all, I was called the “C” word at least half a dozen times by her too… in addition to other abuse. I’m not looking forward to standing up in court repeating some of the comments she came out with. Hopefully the custody suite CCTV will help to make people realise she is not the little angel she will no doubt look in court, but is an out and out nasty little bitch.

You can do whatever it takes to protect yourself. You may not be able to justify punching her lights out, but the fact you were all injured shows you could have justified using alot more force than you did.
The impact factors are about alot more than just size and being female. You were in an enclosed space - the back of the car. She has gone to the level of violence of aggressive resistance where she is actually attacking you. I believe you could have squirted her right between the eyes with gas, or if thats not practical due to the enclosed space, you could at least have given her a forearm in her spitting mouth to think about and stop the spitting.

The community punching bag. I wonder what would have happened in the politically incorrect days. Thanks for the inclusion in the blogroll. I enjoy your missives.

I would have CS\’d the little bitch and shut the car doors and left her in there for a while and if she carried on
