Another Constable

I’ve only just realised that for some unknown reason, I’m not getting notified of all comments being posted to this blog. I don’t read back through my blog to check if there are new comments, I just receive an email notification of the comment, and reply accordingly if required.

However, having just found 1 comment that I hadn’t received email notification about, I checked back through the history and found loads. I will review them all over the next couple of days and reply where appropriate. I’ll also need to try and locate the source of the problem.

In addition to that, there is a new version of the WordPress software that I use to run this blog, and I am to upgrade in the next couple of days. This will mean I will be taking the blog offline for a couple of hours along the way. It may also mean that the modified “theme” that I use for the look and feel of the blog may change, and the one I use may not be compatible with the upgraded blog software. We will have to wait and see. My long term aim is to create a unique “theme” of my own anyway, as opposed to using a modified version of someone elses. Current theme is thanks to Beccary - amended to suit.
