Another Constable

I just wanted to knock up a quick post about one of the most well written blogs I have ever read. Michael Yon is a journalist in company with American troops engaged in the battle for Mosul.

It is easy to forget that many people are still dying in Iraq, on all sides of the conflict. Much is not reported now as it’s old news unless something ‘big’ happens.

Michael’s despatches make gripping reading, and whatever your beliefs with regard to whether these troops should be there or not, this reporting offers a much clearer picture of what’s really happening on the ground.
